Growing up in a family of artists, Igor de Souza was immersed in the world of crystal carving from an early age. As the only son of master crystal carver Leandro de Souza, Igor spent his childhood surrounded by extraordinary minerals, tools, and works in progress, naturally developing an appreciation for both the beauty of crystal and the artistry required to transform it. Inspired by his father's lifelong dedication to the craft, Igor began carving in his late teenage years and has continued to develop his own distinctive artistic voice.

While Leandro's work is known for refined forms and iconic carving styles such as the Magical Child and Star Being, Igor has forged a path uniquely his own. His carvings possess a more primal, organic character, embracing the natural contours and personality of each stone rather than following a single established style.
